The Circle Group Gives BackTuesday 29th of March 2011
It's no secret that the construction business can be a tough one. It's full of deadlines, long hours, cost overruns, demanding clients, and an occasional obsessive labor agitator (or two). What's also no secret about this business is that those who work in it take a tremendous satisfaction from building. Building structures, relationships, friendships, and -- what really makes the world go 'round -- good will.
So when we receive thank you letters, like the one below, it is all worth while. Dana is the young daughter of one of our foremen in the field. The Circle Group recently donated for Dana's 3 day walk to help fight Breast Cancer.

Here at the Circle Group we're very encouraged by, and have a soft-spot for, helping out children. We take pride in our wall of children's sports and cheerleading team plaques that we sponsor. Many of these young people are the sons and daughters of our employees.
Looking back on 2008, we'd like to thank The Circle Group employees who worked so hard to help out the following charities and non-profit foundations:
March of Dimes Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta United Way Boy Scouts of America Southface Energy and Environmental Resource Center
Of course, we at The Circle Group are not alone in trying to make the world a better place. The general contractors who've joined us in giving back in 2008 include R.J. Griffin and Co., Hardin Construction Co., Winter Construction Co., Skanska, and DPR Construction, Inc.
Some of the other charities and non-profits, deserving of mention, that The Circle Group contributed to over the past year are listed below.
Bethlehem Center of Charlotte Construction Education Foundation of Georgia March of Dimes Cancer Walk Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Georgia Force High School Football Worth Cobras High School Softball Walsh's Pub Tournament for Autism Jesse's House Emergency Children's Shelter Panama City Beach Baseball Team Georgia State University Foundation MCAA Cheerleading Habitat for Humanity Broward County Police Benevolent Association Mentoring Ministries Leukemia & Lymphoma Children's Healthcare Of Georgia Midway Elementary PTA Marietta Mad Dawgs Youth Traveling Softball Team Goodwill Industries Boy Scouts of America Grayson Athletic Association St. Jude's Children's Hospital Dacula Family Sports MS Foundation The American Cancer Society The Center for Family Resource Spiritual Society Cruz Family Trust Mustangs High School Softball Hirschberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research New Hope Athletic Association Atlanta 2-Day Walk Care Net Pregnancy Center GA Technology Foundation Grayson Athletic Association Make a Wish Foundation Jack and Jill Children's Foundation Chesatee High School Football North Gwinnett Baseball & Softball Association Summit Hill Elementary School P.T.A. Here at The Circle Group we have a lot be thankful for -- our employees and clients, for starters -- and firmly believe in giving back and lending a helping hand. We certainly intend to continue doing so in 2009.
